President/Chief Business Officer
I’m Kevin, the President and Chief Business Officer. I’ve always enjoyed my visits to Maine in the past, and I’ve been a longtime fan of Maine’s amazing breweries, but I’m new to living here—don’t hold it against me! From the forest to the tide, I’m excited to continue exploring this great state with my wife and two kids.
My favorite “sport” to play “competitively” is cornhole, and I’ll admit that I usually prefer a pub crawl vs. a nature hike. My entire soccer-playing “career” was a few games as B-team goalie at the Bain World Cup in Madrid (it’s a mix of being slightly more exciting and slightly more lame than it sounds). Trust me, I’m not here for my soccer expertise. I leave that to the experts here on our staff.
Although I’m not particularly athletic, I’ve always been a sports fan, dating back to my childhood in Cleveland, Ohio. I love the way sports can unite a community in the collective pursuit of victory — or in Cleveland’s case, usually something agonizingly short of victory.
Aside from my Ohio roots, I’ve spent most of my life in the Boston area, with a business background that blends sports, strategy, finance, and operations — at Boston College, Bain & Company, the Red Sox, Charlesbank Capital Partners, and Harvard Business School earlier in my career. More recently, I was in Atlanta from 2014-2018, working on the launch of Atlanta United and the opening of Mercedes-Benz Stadium, followed by a return to Boston to work at DraftKings for 5 years.
